Announcement of pausing weekly posts...
"The goal is to find ways to keep yourself in the game, to keep playing it. and let everything great compound"
This decision does not come easily to me, and it pains me to write this and makes me feel like I have failed you and myself in the task of sharing the investing journey on the weekly basis, but lots of things have been developing…
…some good and some are not so.
I might have continued to post and fight through the “pain and discomfort” if it wasn’t for the fact that I have lost “joy and excitement” of doing this on weekly basis (especially since post-illness).
Maybe its tiredness post-being sick, maybe its trying my best to be a great father/husband, maybe its exhausting/demanding work or maybe its all together…
I do want to say I’m sorry but this does not mean that I quit, I will not quit but move to longer time frame.
I will continue to share my journey on monthly basis with hopefully less negativity of personal life and more investing relativity and usefulness.
I need to regroup/rethink and get my priorities in line, before moving more forward.
So what does it mean for this substack:
I will be putting payments on pause.
I will be putting weekly posts on pause.
I will keep doing monthly posts in same or similar format.
If I feel like I have something urgent to share, I will just put out a post ASAP and not wait for the monthly update.
I will start doing more deep dives.
Moving forward everything will be free until I think I’m ready to give more value for the paid subscribers again.
If you where a paid subscriber, you can always email me and I will share my cost basis on any of my open positions or we can just keep in touch via email.
The goal of this substack is to post multi year development and not to get burned out but to get from $100,000 to $1,000,000!
I will keep doing weekly Instagram posts/screenshots, so if you want to follow me on Instagram.
If you would like to see my portfolio “up to date” follow me on Commonstock.
If you want to chat with me just DM me on Twitter or email me at email@example.com
I have learned a lot since starting this substack in December of 2020 and I think now I need to somewhat/somehow reflect on everything good and bad before I start the next chapter of this journey.
“I have never learned to do anything thing the “right way” but I never been afraid of trying and learning something and keep it evolving and so as in life and in this. I learn, I evolve, I keep moving forward” - Mr Zaye
My hope is that all of you will understand and hopefully support this decision…
